I'm considering adding a step on my B7510 so I do not have to stretch over the MMM. My son will use it more than me, and he weighs peanuts, but I an sure that I'll put it to use.

Last night I st on a 3830, and when I stepped on the first step to get in the saddle, the whole rear fender bent down with my weight (220#) and then back up after I stepped off. It is bolted to the bolts that hold the fender to the floor pan, and that is where I wanted to bolt mine on my B7510. now, it looks too weak. I like someone's idea (here on TBN) of a bracket off the loader stanchion, but i am welderless now, and don't particularly like the "leveraging" pronciple the step had on the loader bracket. I would like to have the step supported on each side, not a leveraging step on the loader stanchion. Any thoughts?

Hey, how about a step over the MMM spindle covers? I assume the 9gauge deck is strong enough to support 220#!??

Going to mount a step on the rear anti-scalp wheel mounting bracket on my 60" MMM to ease mounting. Feels like the right spot and gets my feet in the right sequence when mounting.

The step I am using is a rear bumper mounting bracket and step off a Model A Ford. Reproductions are available from Model A suppliers like Brattons and Snyders for about $13 US. Nice compact round metal step. Mounting bracket only requires 2 holes in the wheel mounting bracket.
