Ok, officially tired of the hoses running to the rear of my tractor. I see there are kits that you can buy, and I have read the posts on here, but would like more specific information for my tractor. Please help.
Ok, I am a real newbie when it comes to this stuff, so not sure on the external pump question. I am running the grapple controls off of my single rear remote. The rear remotes supply lines are metal.
External pump means just that, the pump is on the outside of the engine, and an internal pump is built in and may not have any lines on the outside of the tractor, making it difficult to add things.
If you can get to the flow path, you can modify the hyd flow path.
However, that valve will provide full flow at all times unless you reduce the engine rpm, add a needle valve or a restrictor washer in one of the fittings.
How would you control the speed of the auger/grapple?
If the 3rd function valve is second valve in the series path, and the first valve is using all the hyd flow, the 3rd valve will have no fluid flow.
That is an expensive 3rd function valve.
You can gather up all the parts and do it yourself for less.
I am looking to install a grapple on my existing bucket & found this thread searching 3rd function. Thanks for the links for the 3-part installation, it's even my exact tractor.
I'm not as well versed in hydraulics as I would like, but near as I could tell the kit in the video use this solenoid valve: D03S-2B-12D-35 - 12 Volt DC
Is the configuration correct? The rest of the kit looks like a few bracket, the knob/switch & some hoses. Am I missing something?
