Hi all. Just bought a Model 70 loader for my John Deere 750 4wd tractor. The tractor has no control valve currently. What type/size valve would be appropriate for this tractor. Thanks for any help.

Hi Trip, welcome to our corner of the internet.

I'm not one of the hydraulic gurus here, hopefully someone with experience will jump in. If it was me, I'd start by speaking to a JD dealer and see what they recommend, the proper Deere loader control might still be available for the model #67? (I think that's the loader #) loader. It looks a lot like the #70 loader. They might have a picture on the Deere parts look up site.John Deere - Parts Catalog

Unless you are the type that bleeds green and can't imagine purchasing a non-JD item (sorry if I insulted someone....well, not really. I work with more than a few like that and they are alright people in every other way ;) I would go with something that would cost a little less. This one would work fine for your tractor. It has float and power beyond capability and I would guess it is probably 2-3 X's less than a JD valve.
