Adding Accessory Hydrulic Ports to a Kubota BX

First picture is data for a 6 GPM pump, and regular log splitter valve. .

Second picture is data for a LSR3060 valve with 4 GPM in, and 25 GPM out.

Using the LSR 3060 valve, speed is about equal to a 2 stage hyd pump

Thanks for all the input guys.... I happened to stumble across another thread that someone has already done this with a bx....safe to say it worked but not very impresive. Like you guys said it was slow and he said that it heated up under alot of use. I think im just going to have to invest in a stand alone. Just one more motor I have to maintain and keep covered. The extra hydro ports would be nice but other than the wood splitter I wouldnt have any other need. Thanks again for the quick response!!

Other uses would be for a hydraulic top link and a lift arm cylinder, very useful if you do any blade work (allows tilting the blade for trenching]. Was that thread for the Bx remotes on this website?

Do yo have a FEL/loader now?

Do you have a hyd block on the right side of the tractor?

If you have either or those, you can run a hose and QD to the back for a log splitter.

6 GM would run the log splitter, but with the engine running at max.

You could order your log splitter with this valve from Prince, a LSR-3060, to increase the flow of fluid to the log splitter and run the tractor at a lower rpm, pumping about 3 or 4 GPM's.

Thank you for the link. I added remotes to a B2710 for a hydraulic top link and a wood splitter but have been using the splitter with a larger tractor.
