Yesterday I added some DOT red & silver reflective strips to my ROPS. I seldom ever drive it on the road but it's just an extra safety thing I did. I do have an SMV sign on the back of the seat but you can't see it unless I remove John Deere seat cover. If I am going to drive it on the road, I'll just take the seat cover off since it only takes a second or two. I think I'll add some strips to my BB, the bush hog, and probably my disc harrow too.

i bought some strips at harbor freight and did mine last winter.

makes it easier to see when doing winter snow removal.

Very good idea. Thanks for the tip. I have these on my box trailer but never thought of the tractor.

Do you use a slow moving vehicle sign too? It's the law where I live to use one.

I have the tail end of a roll, I cut some into small strips to put on the normally hidden section of my car/truck doors so trafic would light it up if the door was opened, also a few pieces on the receiver hitch frame. & 1/4 th width strips above and below the pickup cap rear window.

I have strips on the utility and boat trailer & all four sides of the jonboat.

As I mentioned, there is an SMV attached to the rear of the seat, you just can't see if for the seat cover I have on the seat. You know, I'm not sure if SC requires them or not. Anybody here know???

I also added 3 smv's and reflective tape to the back, and sides of my batwing mower.. in addition tot he tractor mounted smv...

never hurts to be a lil more visible to 'fast' moving vehicles.

Don't forget the side of the tractor too. If you are pulling out onto or across a road you are not very visible.

Excellent!

I also have some on sides of my snowblower and drift cutters as often it is the blower that gets out onto the road first, but then fools still will rush on by hoping I'll stop in time.
I stuck some on the side of my FEL arms as well.
On my cab roof I also have a yellow rotating beacon plus I use the 4-way flashers on whenever I drive on or cross a road.
Why is everbody in such a hurry?
