I have Ford 3000 with a Ford brand loader 19529. I broke a line in the loader and replaced it and am wodering how to add fluid to the loader. it has its own pump and as far as I can see doesn't connect to the tractor hydaulics. Is it possible that I need to add fluid beyond just the transmission and rear end? Someone told me all I needed to was to add the tractor and the loader would be taken care of. Is this correct?

well.. lets look at the facts you posted.

load has a seperat epump.. and no hyd connection to the tractor.

and you are wondering ( someone is wondering ).. if adding oil to the tractor will 'take care' of the laoder?

um.. only if the lil tracotr maintenance elf is working today to swap the oil over to the loader sump.

if it is truly self contained.. check the loader frame.... ie.. foillow the suction line from the pump.. it goes to where the magic oil is stored.. :)
