Please forgive my ignorance but can someone tell me where to add Hydraulic Oil to a L48. A local dealer says the dipstick hole and I'm having reservations about that advice. I've included a picture from the manual that shows the oil "INLET" as the dipstick and the "OIL CAP" as a Gauge?.........

Thanks in advance============Steve A. L48-Oil-Fill.jpg

You need tractor fluid not plain hydraulic fluid. Tractor fluid has additives that work with wet brakes and clutches. On a modern machine you want "premium" tractor fluid not 303.

Being a Kubota it may have more specific requirements, like for their synthetic stuff.
