Adding JD Grapple to 553 HD Bucket? On JD 5065e

I have a JD 5065e with 553 FEL. My tractor has one spare SCV on rear. Has anyone added the JD Grapple to their 553 FEL that has the grapple compatible , HD bucket? I would like to know what it might cost including the additional hydraulic controls that can be integrated with the loader joystick? I understand you can run a hose from my additional SCV on rear of tractor and use the control lever on right side of seat. Which is better?

For the hydraulics, least to most expensive:
1) use your rear SCV
2) add a diverter valve to the curl function of your mid valve
3) change your 2 function mid valve to a 3 function mid valve.

I would do option 1)

Any option you do will require hoses to the grapple
1) you could zip tie hoses from the valve to the grapple
2) same as 1) with quick couplers at the same place as mid coupler for removing loader
3) same as 1) + 2) plus quick couplers for removing only the grapple
4) hard lines on the loader, couplers and hoses at mid valve for loader removal and couplers at the grapple for only grapple removal.

I would do 4)

I think a grapple that replaces the bucket would be handier than the grapple that goes on the JD bucket Cost varies with grapple choice.

Thanks for the detailed advice. I have been looking at getting a separate grapple rather than add one to existing bucket. I have a bunch of brush, debris and trees/limbs to clean up maintaining hunting tract timber farm. I am thinking an independent grapple would be more versatile and keep bucket for material moving, back dragging etc.
