I picked up a nice used LA211 loader with valve locally via Craigslist and then got the complete hydraulic block/lines setup for my tractor from a member of this forum, which was a huge help and greatly appreciated. I got the BX 1830 new in 2005 without a loader or any loader valve or lines. I will be removing the blank cap and plug from the pump and adding the block with two lines and the swivel elbow with third tank line. I have read the instructions and gotten a couple of new O-rings for the block before putting it on.

So I figure I will thoroughly clean under the tractor and switch out the cap/plug with block, elbow and lines. I've worked with hydraulic equipment in the past, so I don't anticipate having any trouble hooking up the lines and clamps. I will hook up the two lines together where the lines terminate at the loader end per the manual.

The tractor had plenty of fluid when I checked.

At this point, I assume I would start up the tractor and check for leaks? If no leaks, then hook up the loader and try it out?

I assume the oil in the loader is clean filtered oil. It's time to change the hydraulic fluid in my tractor anyway, so I figure I will get it going, recheck the fluid level, run it a while then change the fluid/filters.

If there is anything else to check or be aware of, please leave feedback, it will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
