Oil & Fuel Adding oil pressure gauge to DK?

On my MF230, I had an oil pressure gauge. It save my butt once when the lift pump diaphram developed a leak.

I was mowing hay and noticed a slow but steady climb in pressure.

Ran it to the barn and had about a quart to much in the crankcase, diesel fuel was leaking into the oil. Cleaned out the engine real nice.

Has anyone added an oil pressure gauge to their Kioti?

Can it be done? The location of the sensor is what I don't know.

The oil pressure sensor is located directly above the starter, if you are standing in front of the tractor it will be on the right side of the tractor. It is a little diaphragnm style switch with a single wire going to it. i recommend remove the senso and find out what type of thread it is and i would put a tee in line with the sensor on one side and a mechanical pressure guage on the other end.

I am thinking the same thing on my 2003 DK 45. Yes i agree a tee where the existing sensor is so you can keep the oil light to.
I am thinking of mounting in the right side (like above the pto switch) of the dash one of those 1 1/2" mini oil pressure either electrical or mechanical not sure yet.
I want to make it look good close to something factory. I just don't want it hanging off to the side.
The trick will be drilling/cutting (neatly) the 1 1/2 or maybe a little smaller hole in the plastic dash.
Be sure before you drill make sure there is enough room under the dash and leave enough tubing or wire to help in future removal.
