So I popped the radio cover plate off yesterday and see the power/speaker/antenna plugs. Looks like any old car radio should fit.

Is there a Massey plug to adapt to a generic radio or should I just remove the wires from the two existing plugs and splice into the radio I buy?

There is, on my 1742 I found it in a clear plasric bag under the seat and on my 1755 I found it in the manual pocket on the seat back.
If yours is not there anywhere your AGCO dealer can order it and I believe I remember seeing one on Amazon when I ordered the Bluetooth microphone for the factory radio. And the only reason I have a factory radio is because they threw it in on the tractor deal I never would have paid for the overpriced stereo otherwise I would have gone after market as well.

I'll look under the seat etc.
Thanks!

Heck, do like I did.

Visit the auto recycle yard and buy a car radio,
AM/Fm with programmed stops and all 25$.
How can U lose?
May not say Deere or Kubota but it does the job.

OP was refering to the Massey wiring harness plug to mating connector to wire in an aftermarket radio.

I ordered a wire harness adapter under $10 (Metra 70-1784) over the internet that allowed me to wire the aftermarket radio to the MF factory pigtails in the cab roof area on my 2800m series, I am pretty sure the factory pigtails on the 1700 series and possibly earlier models will fit also. I did not want to cut and splice any factory wires wile under warranty, and it does make a clean connection. The Metra adapter was not totally the same wire colors to match the stereo or the cab wires because it shows fitment for a VW car but all you have to do is visually follow the wires path and connect them. For cab wire schematic refer to the first post of this thread by:RichardGD

This wiring was correct for my 1735. I just cut the factory connector off and spliced it to the radio harness. So I've got AM/FM radio, streaming and Bluetooth phone in the tractor now. I feel pretty up town. :)
