I have a 1533 , there aren't any hard lines going to the joystick to help locate the power beyond line , I wanted to tee off the lines right at the back of the joystick if that is possible for a third valve.

Appreciate any Help

If you have 3 lines going to the joystick valve, you're already have power beyond setup. If not, then we need to figure out how the system is plumbed.

You can't Tee any line other than the Tank line on a open center system.

We also need to know what kind of valve are you planing to use. If it's a solenoid or a mechanical actuated valve.

Would like to use a mechanical valve to keep the price down , there are 4 lines that go to the loader and 3 coming from the tractor 20191201_103404.jpg20191201_103404.jpg20191201_103404.jpg

Ok, so you have power beyond on the loader valve already hooked up.

You need to get the valve you want plus the Power Beyond plug/sleeve for the valve you're buying. You'll need a couple hoses and fittings.

Then you take the Power Beyond line from the loader valve to the IN port on the new valve. You might need to take the cover of the loader valve to confirm what line corresponds to what. It should have a marking like PB or C.

The Power Beyond port of the new valve with the PB sleeve, will then feed the rest of the tractor hydraulics (3 pt and remotes).

The Tank lines will be Tee'd together.

I'll take a shot.

One line is "power" to the valve. One line is "tank return" leaving the valve and back to the sump. One line is "power beyond".

The power beyond line will go to the 3pt system of the tractor. First thing the pump powers is the loader valve. If no useage there it delivers that power to the 3pt system.

The power beyond line is what you will power your add on valve with. So it becomes the "power" line to the new valve.

The "tank return" line out of the new valve can be T'd into the loader valve tank return line if that's handy.

The "power beyond" line out of the new valve will then go to your 3pt system.

Hope that makes sense?

I was typing while you were. :D

Hopefully between our two descriptions it will make sense to him. :)

Welcome to TBN Nicholas. Nice shop. Nice Deer. I think your concrete saw overheated. :D

I agree. Should be enough info to get the job done.

Yours might be easier to understand. Since English is not my main language, sometimes I can't express my self very clearly.

Thank you for the help the third valve will be able to power two cylinders that only have inlets with no outlets20191201_111501.jpg20191201_111741.jpg

Yep. I use my 3rd function on my FEL or rear remote on the tractor to power the angle on a modified Meyer snow blade similar to what you pictured. It's a simple hookup using two hoses just as you would with a two way single cylinder.

When extending the left cylinder the right cylinder isn't applying any power and is simply draining back to the valve. When extending the right cylinder same thing happens in reverse.

If you have a rear remote you could actually rig up a pair of long hoses and control the blade that way??

I have no rear remotes, my free float doesn't work and the curl leaks down so I thought buying a new joystick valve that has free float and a 3rd valve would be the way to go , just dont know the which 3 spool joystick valve to buy or if that's the correct name for what I need

The valve is probably fine.....they rarely go bad. If you don’t have free float the cables need adjusted.....it has free float from the factory.
If the curl is drifting down you likely have a bad cylinder seal.

Sounds like some good old maintenance is in order......before you just start throwing parts at it.

This may condense it. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

The new valve needs to get the Power Beyond (PB) line from the existing valve into it's Power (P) input, then its PB outlet couples to the PB line that previously went to the existing valve. Then tank(T) output tees in to the existing T line. That completes the circuit.

The video above is his machine. The valve has a PB. So you don’t need to couple back in. The return dumps into the top of the case
