average snow fall per storm normally 3" to 6" once maybe twice a year 6" to 10" last year was an exception averaged only 3" per storm
light, medium to heavy water content, we get them all.

Why are you plowing 3-6"

Welcome to TBN.
When you plow that little snow around here, you will probably tear up the road (or your equipment). That is one of the biggest reasons why I don't plow less than 4" to 5".

Thanks for the advise guys????. decided to purchase ebling rear blade and blizzard adjustable wing blade for front loader

If your looking for a instant response, you might want to change your expectations.

I plow my near 1/4 mile gravel driveway which is on a hill with my ATV.

The most it can EASILY plow is about 20", I've done 26" in multiple passes but that's snow coming over the top onto me, and taking forever. But it was doable

Why I shared that was.. if you never get snow fall more than 12" at once or even 15" I wouldn't spend the $ for a plow setup on a tractor... save some more $ and buy a nice used ATV for more fun :D :D

I built a wing plow last winter, and it works great for my needs. It compliments the 7' Western plow on the front, and quick attaches to either right or left side FEL post and has a telescoping push bar at the back that attaches to the drawbar. Raises and lowers with the 3 ph arms.

Only video is the maiden run and going slow. It really saves the day when pushing snow back to form a ledge(shelf) for a second pass, or to roll the snow into the ditch where the front plow won't reach.

I understand not plowing snow on your own property until its required, I'm employing this tractor into my snow plowing buis. When the snow falls this winter the trip indicator to start
plowing their parking lots is 2 1/2" of snow. For liability resons my customers need clean, clear and ice free parking lots. Sorry if I misrepresented my origional question. Thats the reason I
am purchasing these plows. To E/S as far as my expectations I own an operate two small
companies. Expectation one of the reasons I am still afloat in this screwed up economy
To beenthere I like your addition
To TWD I use 4 wheelers for clearing sidewalks Thank you all for your imput

One problem, TBN members are not a consulting business.
