You nailed it. In this instance. A failure in the cranking system would not be covered if it was discovered that the seat switch had be altered.It really would depend on the dealer though.![]()
Ultimately it comes down to depending on a judge and not a dealer or even Mahindra. Any mod done by the user has to be responsible for the failure in question. The seat switch has nothing to do with something like a wheel falling off or even a bad starter. They would have to prove that the seat switch caused the failure. Wishful thinking on anyone's part has no merit in any court.
