I am in the process of installing new brake plate assemblies on my 2008 LoadMax 14k gooseneck. It has AL-KO axles. I bought AL-KO 2" x 12" replacement brake plate assemblies from Southwest Wheel for all 4 locations. Then install has went pretty well. When I look at the instructions online for the brake assembly, they say to tighten the shoes until the wheels don't rotate, then back them off until the tire will rotate 3/4 of a revolution. My question is what does that exactly mean? So if it give it a "Price is Right" wheel spin, does it stop at 3/4" rotation? Do I give it a gentle push and it should stop at 3/4 rotation?
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Chris
