Close enough. I was told to stay away by a friend but are they a solid tractor worth looking at?
Worth looking at IMO.
I have owned my Kioti ( a 2001 DK 35) for 19 years now.
Love it. I has been a fantastic tractor for me for nearing 2 decades now.

Compact Mahindra tractors are badged for Mahindra by LS.

NO THEY ARE NOT..... Mahindra subcompacts and some smaller compacts are made by TYM..... not LS.

I believe Mitsubishi may make a few models for Mahindra also. At least they did in the past.

Mahindra has five assembly plants in the US—one at its North American headquarters in Houston, Texas, another in Marysville, California and one in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In August 2012, Mahindra USA opened its fourth assembly and distribution center in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. In 2014, Mahindra USA opened its fifth assembly and distribution center in Lyons, Kansas.

In addition to building their own tractors, Mahindra also sources tractors from other manufacturers. For the USA market, Mahindra has purchased their core products from Tong Yang Moolsan, one of the top tractor manufacturers in South Korea, to cover selected product ranges

It seems they make some of their own and the others are made by TYM

I have and like both NH and Kubota. I will never get anything but a hydro again unless I can,t afford that that option. As far as brands go at this point most tractors are cross manufactured by parts from various companies like LS and TYM so badging to me at this point is less significant than previously. I think Kubota makes most of it's own parts.
It is like fishing tackle. Everyone has their own that they prefer.
Good luck in your search. The newer the tractor the more you need to have electrical skills as well as mechanical.

My LS came standard with two rear remotes and the cab was only a $4k upcharge.

You will want a cab for moving snow and my dealer recommended turfs for snow. I have no hills to deal with but still got the turfs. If you go with AG tires factor in chains as well.

I have a great dealer close by so my decision was easy. If LS is good enough to make tractors for others, it is good enough for me. My tractor with 40HP, FEL, Cab, oversize turfs, third function, RimGuard and radio was $31k last March. I think going to 45 or 50 HP was $1500 more.

If you have a good LS dealer in the area, they are worth looking at. Mine will pickup and deliver for service or warranty for free and he is 45 miles away. The Kubota dealer is closer and wanted $300 for the round trip.
