I am looking at a Truax FLX88 grass drill for planting food plots. It is a no till, 3 point hitch model. I am tired of all the work preparing plots and think this would greatly simplify things. What do you guys think. I looked at other planters (Great Plains, Kasco, etc) but wanted advice specifically on this Truax model. Would it serve my needs for planting a variety of things, and would my 70 horse Kubota handle its 2500 lb weight as a 3 point version? I see most of these are pull types. Any advice or experience with these would be appreciated.

I know Truax makes two versions, one is this grass drill with 3 hoppers, and the other is a grain drill with two hoppers.

Does anyone have any knowledge of a Truax grain or grass drill. I just bought one, a used 5.5 foot model with 3 seed boxes. I bought it sight unseen from Illinois, so I am keeping my fingers crossed on it's condition. Hopefully, it will be as expected. It is a no till 3 point hitch model. I plan to use it for food plots. Any comments on this drill (or any other drill) would be appreciated!
