Buying Advice Advice on buying a CT335

I am in serious negiotions on a CT335 and it sounds like several of you have this model and are very happy with it. Yes I know they are stopping production of the CT335 but I like the extra size, the ease of adding attachments and the separate pedals fo the hydro-transmission for forward and reverse over the CT235 and don't want to spend the extra couiple of thousand on the CT440. Wondering you thoughts of buying this unit as well as what you think a fair price would be. Adding a front mounted 72" snowblower (mid-PTO & lift kit) and 72" rotary cutter mower.

I just happen to have a 335 & a 440 and have had a Kioti CK30 (Bobcat CT235). The 440 has more power than the 335, and has a bigger frame and the FEL capability is considerably more than the 335. The 335 has more power and a bigger frame size than the 235. And I'm with you; I like the twin hydro pedals a whole lot better than a treadle pedal:thumbdown:. As far as the cost factor, that would be up to your wife:laughing: err I mean up to you!

No reason to be afraid of buying if it fits you needs. Parts for it are not going to magically disappear just because it is no longer built. That tractor is a cross between a 235 & 440, almost all of the parts on it are used in one of the other models. Big reason the loader capicity is so much lower than the 440 is the placement of the front axle. Frame from front to rear is longer than the 235 but has same center to center wheel base length. With front axle setting back more it adds more weight to the axle for better traction on the front, but with loader on at full capacity the counter weight on the 3 pt. can not relieve the same ratio of load like it would on a 440 or 235.
No idea on what fair price would be, depends on how bad dealer wants to move it, but if you split the difference between a 235 & 440 then deduct a few % price should be little closer to the a 235 than an 440.

agreed, plus I likes the slightly smaller tractor for fitting under the canopy in my woods

The 235 is 5.5" shorter grill to rear tire than 335 but the 335 is 4.5" lower at the ROPS when up (not folded). Sometimes I wish I had the 335. My 225 is 1" too high getting in the shed door and 2" high getting in the hay shed, have to fold ROPS half way back. Didn't need the extra HP or width, but really couldn't afford it.
