You won't find any "computer controls" or "electric lockouts" at these prices.
If you were searching for such a machine you wouldn't be here.
And besides, computer controls and electronic lockouts keep smart people from making dumb mistakes.........sometimes. :D

Thanks Bob, but I hadn't thought of ANY of the available tractors as complex machines using electronic controls. AFAIK none of the models, whether Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, or a mix of origination, are governed by such methods and so simplicity is a weak reason to chose one of the Chinese models. All compact tractors are relatively simple machines, similar in concept but differing in realization and price. There's a few reasons to chose a Chinese tractor foremost among them is the very attractive pricing.

Me? I like the idea of 16 forward gears and I like the idea of a machine that would not intimidate my tendency to want to modify everything I buy, and I like the fact that I could have bought two of them for the price of my one Kubota.

Every machine design philosophy, regardless of size or origin, has shortcomings. And therein lies the challenge. :)
