Chipper Affordable Hydraulic Feed Chipper ??

I saw a wood chipper similar to the Jinma 6 with the following features: Hydraulic feed roller drive (motor, control valve, hoses, etc.), adjustable (for height) base, easy access to belts, flywheel, feed roller and blades. The unit uses the same blades and (flywheel?) as the Jinma but has a different anvil (bed knife). The unit is made by LiTW, a Korean maker of backhoes, and has a model designation of CW06. The local dealer says these units are new. Price quoted was $2500. For comparison, this dealer sells the Jinma chipper at $1799 (show special at $1599).All his equipment is assembled, adjusted and tested prior to delivery so he may charge more than others.

This seemed like the most reasonably priced hydraulic feed chipper I've seen and may solve some of the roller feed mechanism problems of the Jinma 6. Has anyone seen or used this model?

As a LiTW Importer / Dealer I have only seen pictures of the chipper. From the pictures I have seen it looks like a nice machine. The LiTW backhoes are a really nice well built machine and I expect the chippers to be the same quality.

Those that you seen are the first ones [load] that have hit the USA ... and the response from the general public was / is good.

You will be able to control the feed drum speed on these chippers.

Thanks for the info Ronald. I failed to mention the hydraulic flow control valve. The dealer (Valley View Equipment, Newberg, OR) mentioned that the addition of a flow control valve on the hydraulic circuit was necessary...he said he attached the first unit to a large tractor with a high hydraulic flow rate and spun the feed roller too fast for good chipping. The units will be delivered with a flow control.

This unit sounds great. I need a robust, automatic feed, chipper bad, but can't bring myself to pay $8K for an independently powered, name brand, unit. Can't wait to see them show up in my neck of the woods (Nor Cal).

I made a phone call yesterday on these chippers. It should not be to far in the future. They are working on the fine print. I have requested some detailed pictures to put on my web site.

Tractors that run these chippers will require rear hydraulic remotes to run the feed drum as a reminder to some.

I am interested in knowing the weight.

The woodchippers are in the final stages of completion,the Engineer from Korea was here for about a week working out the bugs.We will be placing a order for a load very soon,if anybody wants to get in on a pre buy special let me know.I would like to get 20-30 of these out and working,I feel sure they are going to be a hit,as the price is right for a hydraulic feed chipper,thats powder coated,easy access to flywheel and drive belts,adjustable stand.These woodchippers will only be avaliable thru a LITW dealer,

I know it is a little more money than the jinma or korean model that you've seen, But if you haven't looked at the wallenstein, than maybe you want to. I have the 42 model, with double hydraulic feed rollers, and it is great. It surprises me at what it will pull in and chip up.
