After market Air Conditioner

not sure if this is the right place for this post but lets give it a try. We are bringing an old Steiger 4x4 back to life and want to add an aftermarket air conditoner kit. All we need is the controller and blower. Any ideas on who makes a good one? I have seen them in 18 wheelers but cant find any info on them. Thoughts?

Blower ?, as in evap blower ?

What do you mean by "controller" and "blower"? Are you talking about the entire inside evaporator unit or just switches and parts?

JBAR (near Cleveland) makes inside evaporator units for floor, wall, roof or overhead mounting. Mouse-over "Systems" in the link below. These are the inside evaporator units only. You would still need the hoses, compressor and condenser. If you're building a system from parts, I wouldn't skimp on a used or rebuilt compressor. The price difference in new compressor is pocket change compared to the headaches. Also, make sure you size the condenser to your system not just for fit. The new cross-flow condensers outperform most all previous units.

I have installed a couple of Red Dot systems over the years. Very well engineered and durable units. Give them a call, they can square you away with a suitable system. If they don't have it they can custom make a kit to fit darn near anything. Here's a sampling of their systems.

Sorry, the entire evaporator system. The compressor is new and the condenser was working fine a year ago. These links provided is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you all!
