Brand new fuel line and filter, too. :) I changed them a couple of months ago. I think it's either the sealant, or the junk came from the tank farm with the fuel tanker.

The gas was from a brand new station. They just built it. It had been open about a month when I filled my collection of jerry jugs.

You are assuming that they cleaned construction debris out of the service station's tank before they filled it with gasoline for the first time.... I bet they didn't do any cleanliness flushes of the tank, and depend on in-line filters to deliver a "clean" product to their customers.

That being said, I bet the UFO clogging your filter is sealant in your tank finally giving up the ghost.

I assume nothing, Sir. :D

I learned that the hard way, a long time ago. I mention the new station because of the suggestion that old tanks may build up crud, but I don't put it past the installers to leave "inappropriate" materials in a new tank.

I don't think i'd be surprised either. Probably thinking the fuel pump filters will clean it all up. :)
