- Kioti ck2610
So we bought a kioti ck2610 a few years ago new after maybe a couple hundred hours it developed a very annoying problem.
It would randomly just die like it was starving for fuel.
Of course the first culprit was the fuel filter, then checking the tank for obstructions in the tank... example the big bug i got out of the tank after draining and removing the fuel tank... I was positive I had found the problem.. wah-wa wa... nope still dies.. so I checked the lift pump... was working very well.. so I figured the fuel line must be collapsing nope.... everytime it would die one thing always happened... the primer pump on top of the fuel filter housing would be sucked down under a vacuum.. so i completely removed the housing cleaned and blew out everything I could take apart... new filter again. The tractor stalled as soon as I used it under a heavy load almost immediately...
At this point I'm pretty fed up... so I did something I'd usually never recommend.
I used a cheap inline fuel filter and bypassed the factory fuel filter housing.. walla... the tractor ran like new full power no stalling no matter how much load i put on it.
The problem is obviously in the top of the fuel filter housing in the primer pump assembly... note this part can not be disabled without destroying the housing.
I have since replace the filter housing and couldn't be happier with my tractor again...
I'm currently at about 950hrs of use.
