OK, when you are done with the plowing of snow:

1. Do you park your tractor with the parking brake or just park it? Flat floor

2. Blade lowered to float position or ?

Inquiring minds are interested in your methods.

Flat floor, blade up (so it can dry better), no brake (no need). 2305 with 54" blade, 200CX loarder, 54" mmm, grass catcher, pallet forks in the making...

47" front snowthrower on floor, transmission in neutral, no brake

In the garage... brake on and sometimes not... front blower or FEL down but sitting on a 2x4 off the floor to dry.

I drop the loader's cutting edge is down (dump position, but maybe not full dump). This allows the bucket to drain, if there is still remnants of snow on the surfaces
The three point is also down.

I rarely leave anything raised, by the way. To me, that's a safety issue. The loader would eventually leak down anyway...

I leave the tractor in gear (manual transmission). I'll use the parking brake if I'm stopped and the engine is idling, but when I shut down, the tractor is left in gear. FYI, the 790's must be in neutral to start the engine.

I never set the parking brake on ANYTHING when snow or ice is involved... things freeze and can't be released.

I put the cutting edge of the bucket down, so it can drain, and drop the 3pt, let in gear, then go start the fire and turn on the fans so everything dries and doesn't either freeze of sit and RUST.
Heat it up to 80 Degrees for 12 hrs, and then let the fire burn down for the next 6 hrs. :D

2210 loader and backblade both on 2X4's to avoid rust and freezing to floor.

355 & 42" snowthrower are on a large sheet of cardboard to avoid freezing to floor and rust marks on floor from the snowthrower cutting edge.

On the NH TC 55 if you don't lock the brakes the computer will beep at you contineously. ( with the key off ) The loader and 3 point are lowered to the ground on 2x4s or blocked up. I think the reason for this is the EHSS. It may be engaged accidently and drive forward or backward without using the clutch.
