I'm looking for a good aftermarket alternative for my NH T4.75 top link. It seems that the one's I can find online or in local stores are smaller cat 1 type top links that aren't quite what I need. Does anyone have experience with this, or have an idea of where I could look for one? The dealership wants $230 for one, and that seems a little over the top. Just the threaded end next to the implement is $55.
They seem cheap to me, at least the threaded ends that have the eye for connecting to the implement. I guess it's just cast material. I bent one backing up with a 8' Woods blade on, so that was my fault, but the brand new threaded end I replaced it with bent from just the weight of the same blade bouncing on it during hookup the next time I used it (I had slid the lower arms out to make hookup easier, then they slid shut quickly when I lifted the blade up with the TPH, bending the new eyelet end of the toplink) . I'm thinking of having a solid toplink made at a local fab shop for the blade use only, then use the adjustable top link for all other implements.
Any thoughts or resources are appreciated!
