Aftermarket 3rd function kit on Mahindra 2538 --- will it void warranty?

Hi guys,

I am about to purchase a mahindra 2538 and I want to put an everything attachments grapple on it. I was going to put the 3rd function hydraulic kit that they sell on it, but the dealership I am going to buy the tractor from said that would void the warranty. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, I suppose I could have the dealership put on a "factory approved" one instead, which according to them would not void the warranty.

There has been many of them setups put on new tractors and I have never heard of it voiding warranty.

It would only void the warranty if the kit caused a failure, not for any failures unrelated to the kit. Typical used-car sales bull, and illegal under US law.

Find a different dealer. If he's being a j e r k about a third function kit then he's probably going to nit pick everything to deny warranty coverage.
