Aftermarket Cat 1 3PT for BX25D

I am a newbie.

When I bought my tractor, I didn't think I would ever take the BH off, so I decided to not get the 3 PT hitch kit.

Well, now I know better and I need a kit.

I know I can go to the dealer, and get the Kubota kit. I found one on Ebay for $250.

But in my searches on eBay I found some generic looking kits for about $200.

All things being equal, I am happy to spend the extra $50 on the Kubota Kit, but I do not know if it is equal or better than the generic kit.

Any opinions on which is better?

My opinion is to spend the extra fifty and know it will fit properly.It's been awhile since I had a BX but it looks to me like the "spacer plate" that holds the lower arms apart is missing on the generic kit.Who knows what else may be missing or doesn't fit quite right.

You bought a Kubota for its quality, stick with Kubota for its quality.

I ran a bx25 for a few months and that eBay kit doesn't look quite right. Missing the spacer. Doesn't have the piece Kubota's does to hold up top link when not in use which is ever so handy!
