I just got a 5103 and was wondering what my options are for an aftermarket loader. I tried the Search feature but it isnt working

There are several options available, Bush Hog, Woods, Great Bend (mfg. by Bush Hog, seems to be the same loader), ALO/Quicke, Koyker, many others I'm sure, these are the ones that come to mind. Koyker quoted me the best price, still looking for a reasonably priced used JD for my old Deere. If you can find a JD 510 or 511, they are basically the same as the 512, not sure what updates have been made to that line.

I've used Woods in the past, and always been pleased with their equipment. Woods also manufactures equipment for JD under the Frontier line...makes for some interchangeability.

I have an Alamo SMC loader on my JD770. It works well, the action is quite fast, but it seems kind of wimpy to me. The cylinders may be on the small side, which is probably why it seems wimpy. Larger cylinders: slower action, but more power.
