Finally got my Turkish power steering installed and running on my Ford 3000 with 730 loader. Here's the scoop.
I bought mine off ebay for $390 plus $80 shipping, brand is Anadolu. Kit comes with everything you need, gear driven pump that bolts right onto the engine, an actuated cylinder, two pitman arms, one tie rod, one steering rod, reservoir, and lines. Parts seem robust enough, but the bolts are not good quality, plus several were too short. Like everyone said, the instructions are not good, but with the color photo and numbers, assembly is clear to your average wrencher. Assembly was fairly easy but can be a pain with a loader in the way. The return line to the oil reservoir is a tight fit if you have a generator, but it fits if you cut it to the right length and route it behind the gen. I still have to re-route the 1¼ inch return line on my loader, it passes right between the steering rod and cylinder, so steering travel is limited for now. I bled the system like crazy but it seemed like there was no power assist at first. I spent several hours tinkering with it but had no luck. After two weeks of sitting, I decided to just drive it cause I needed to mow. Once I got rolling, the system seemed to kick in, so I may have had a clog. The more I drove the better it got. Half an hour into mowing I realized was whipping the wheel around with one hand. All in all I am very happy now- I used to struggle with two arms to steer, since the weight of the loader is on the front wheels. You do have to be rolling and at mid to high engine rpm's for it to work really good, not like your truck might be. I would compare it to how your basic riding lawnmower feels, a little stiff while parked, easy when rolling. Bottom line, a decent system for the price, now let's hope it lasts a while.

I put the same system on my 3000 a couple years ago. I bought it on ebay from a guy in Tennessee, but it shipped out of a warehouse in Dallas.

It was well worth it after I finally got it installed, but it took plenty of elbow grease to make some of the parts fit.
Mine said to not use it on a tractor with a loader. But from your description, it sounds like the same exact system.

Mine don't have a loader but I think I had the same problem as you do.
When it's setting still and you start the turn (in either direction), there is some resistance. Then as you're turning the wheel a bit more, it becomes smooth as butter.

Your's having a loader, no doubt has more resistance to overcome because of the weight. Like you, I tried adjusting it but I guess it's just the nature of the beast.
