As long as the tires are the same size, the tread design dont matter--- for farm use its best to have regular tractor bar tread! thanks;sonny580

The question is do you like traction off pavement (Minus Snow and ICE) or undisturbed grass. If you like traction get Ag's. If you like not tearing up your yard go with Turf tires. Although with a machine weight of a little over 1000lbs the ag's probably won't be to hard on the lawn.

Guess I should have worded that with better details, I need it more for traction than any thing else, not to much worried about the lawn and snow and ice is not a problem here in South Louisiana.
Think I will try and fine a set of rims and tires with the Ag and keep the turfs in case I might need them.
Thanks for the info

That will be your best bet. Turfs have some odd sized rims and much wider than R1 or even the R4 (industrial) tires. I don't think you could find ag tires to fit on the turf rims.

You will likely need 8-16 rear tires. They are available new, but not cheap. You see them used once in a while.

I put 9.5-16 Firestones on my S373D, got them used, work good. Had to match the right front tire diameter since mine is 4wd. I use my tractor to pull a 16" plow and needs bar tires, 4 wheel drive and the wheel weights to do it.

The diamond tread turf tires are pretty worhtless in the snow, not that you have any, but for others reading this. WIth chains that would be better, but they just fill up and become slicks in snow.

Ah, its a simple answer, if you want to play in the dirt, ags are the way to go.

Is your tractor 2 or 4wd? If you are 2wd, you should be able to do either. If 4wd, you have to change the front tires so they ahve the correct ratio to the rears. I think a 23" tall front is required but don't take my word for it, I haven't tried it personally.

I have 8-16's on my 4wd S370. If every thing else were just dandy on it the machine besides old/worn tires, I'd consider bumping them up a size. Lots of other things I need to handle first however.
