My AG tires seemed to be on backwards. The thread is like this V instead of ^ pointing in the direction you are driving forward.

Will this harm anything ? Should I reverse the tread by just reversing the wheels?

The portion of the bar in the center of the tire should contact the ground before the outer edge when going forward. Note picture. It will not hurt the tires to have them backwards, but will adversely affect traction. The easiest fix would be to swap sides with the tires... IE: take left rear and put on right rear, etc.

Sounds like they are on right to me. The tracks should point toward the back for best traction when you are going forward. Imagine what happens when they slip... the angle tread pushes the dirt outward against the resistance of the dirt beside and around the tire. Thus a little slip actually augments traction to an extent. The tread also self cleans in this way and is always ready for a new bite the next round.

WHAT???? Read the first post again. The tires are on backwards, and the easiest way to fix that is simply swap the tires....left to right and right to left.

The way I read his 2 posts is that the V in the tracks they make points backward. That is the correct direction.

I may be confused by the posts but my understanding is that the v should be pointing the same direction as the tractor when on top of the wheel and the opposite direction of the tractor when on the bottom of the wheel. So if I read the posts correctly the print left should point backwards (opposite direction of the direction the tractor is pointing) to be on correctly.

That's why I gave the pic of my tractor.

Those rears are on right. Looks like the fronts could go either way about the same. ;)
