Deutz Allis 5220 w FEL and Backhoe
I bought 2 filters for my Deutz Allis 5220. One is the HST filter and one is the Hydraulic system. The most important one says made in Japan and looks ok. It was 94 bux. The second one was in sealed agco box. Label said made in USA. This one was 108 dollars. Here's the wierd part. The filter felt like it was spray painted. Dry feeling. When I look closer there is a Name and part # under the spray paint. On the top of the filter there is a manufacture code that looks like they taped it off before spray painting. I'm going to make sure this is the correct fitting filter then see if I can get the spray paint off. I'd sure be pissed if this is some $20 filter that they jack up the price on.

P.S> I have no problems with the dealer. They were very nice people and i'm sure have nothing to do with any of this. They were is sealed Agco Boxes.

Those prices seem a bit high. I would check with your local NAPA. They have excellent quality filters.

They only have to be changed every 500 hours and i'm sure i'll never put that many hours on my machine. I was about to puke over how expensive the filters are but it was more for a piece of mind. Now if I wipe the paint off and it's some $10 fleetguard i'll be pissed. You can definately tell its a repaint job.
