I have had the Brinley Hardy version for almost 10 years now.

The first couple of years I had my house, I spent well over 40 hours each fall cleaning up the leaves with my riding mower and bigger, by raking, and with a hand held blower/vac, and I only have a half acre, but with a lot of trees.
The pull behind vacuum has paid for itself many times over. I've got it down to the time it takes to mow the yard a couple of times normally in the fall.
I use a little John Deere STX38 with the vacuum. I leave on the mulching blades and even cleaning up in the rain I don't think I have had more than one clog in 10 years, with the 8" hose. One note is that it will erode the outer tips of the blades quite noticeably.
The biggest PITA is that the hoses bolt to the mower. I pretty much have to leave it outside while its hooked up in the fall, and hope the leaves finish before the snow gets too deep to get the tractor back in the shed for the winter.
I don't put a lot of stock in any of the little chippers. I've watched my neighbor use his little
chipper, and started to feel sorry for him and drove my 30hp tractor over with the PTO Woodmax
chipper and did more chipping in 4 minutes than he did in a half hour.
