I am looking at purchasing a Branson 4720i tractor with 70 hours on the clock. It has industrial tires on it and I am looking at replacing with Agricultural tires.

The specs for the tractor indicate 9.5 x 16 (front?) and 12.4 x 28 (rear?). I am wondering what the cost would be for new tires. Someone told me $3-$4k which I find hard to believe.
Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate for new tires?

Much appreciated in Fallbrook Ontario.

if putting on the same rims u already have the fronts will be around 150 each and the back about 350 each

The reason for the high estimates is usually because you cannot get R1 tires to fit R4 rims. Not sure what size is on the tractor now or if you have 4WD on your tractor but if 4WD then the relative sizes (circumference) front to rear tires must be maintained. I went through the same thing when I looked into changing from R1 to R3.
