I'm getting a 2542, and a Johnny Bucket Jr. I'd like to switch to agro tires to help out during my non-mowing projects, but don't want to tear up the lawn either. And I'd prefer not to buy a separate set of rims to mount the agro tires on.

My question is, if I mount agro tires and cut my lawn with them, will I damage my lawn?

Try and see IMHO- If the stock turf tires that come with the tractor get your bucket chores done, there is no need for the agri-tires. I'd go that route first, as if the bucket work is light, the turf tires might be fine- If not, a set of rear wheel weights with the turf tires would be the next alternative to switching to agri-tires on a set of rims dedicated to running on a fine lawn and being able to use that bucket too. Keep in mind I'm a newbie and use pretzel logic /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Double crosslink chains on turfs are amazing.
