I was weed eating a fence line I hadn't trimmed in a while. I was watching closely for some poison ivy I didn't want to trim and fling all over me when a mouse darted out of the brush and startled me which was then immediately followed by this black snake striking and wrapping it up.

Over the hum of the trimmer engine I believe I sounded something like the title of the post!

Just proof that if the snakes aren't poisonous, we should leave them be.:thumbsup:

I have been digging a core trench for my pond dam. Last Friday, I was working near the trench and scared a field mouse out the grass. It ran right into the trench and couldn't get out because of the 4' sheer walls. Even so, it made several valiant attempts. I think it must have jumped almost 3' into the air trying to scale that wall. I was surely entertained until it finally figured out that there was a ramp of dirt at the other end of the trench and scampered out into the weeds.:D
