- Kubota M9000 4wd with loader and Hyd shuttle
Originally I thought I wanted to beef up my 84" FEL blade with a weld on cutting edge as I plan on doing a lot of fairly heavy digging in caliche and clay mixed with rocks but after reading everthing I can find on the threads I think I should leave off the cutting edge and get a FFC or H & H heavy duty tooth bar. My concern is with a Kubota M9000 90HP do I need to worry a lot about tearing the bottom off my bucket it is Kubota's heavy duty 84" but I had a JD 455 dozer/loader at the ranch a while back with an experienced operator and by the time he'd finished my lake and spillway he'd about torn the bottom completely off. Of course plenty would ask why he didn't stop and have it welded but I guess it's one of those I get paid to operate it the boss ought to maintain it things. My dealer tells me he should have the machine ready by Friday just waiting on the grapple and plumbing.
