I have a soggy lot. Ruts are pretty easy to get. I was curious if anyone airs down their turf tires on subcompact sized machines when it t gets soggy while using a mid mount mower. How low do you go? My rears are 26x12x12

Down to about 7 or 8 lbs. normally, maybe 6 when needed?

I would alow the lot to revert to natural swamp rather than run tires underinflated. That's a clever way of moving a few yards in emergency but poor substitute for oversize tires. If you can beg,borrow or steal a drag mower it will take not only weight of 3 point mower off rear tires,an equal amount of "counterbalance" from front of tractor.
