My L3010HST has the usual Easy Checker lights on the dash. This morning the one listed as "Engine Intake/Combustion Air Filter" came on and stayed on. So I popped the hood and took a look at the air filter. The secondary element (inner) was absolutely clean, but the primary (outer) was a little oily and had been in place for nearly 100 hours. So I changed it. The evacuator valve is clear of dust or debris, and I found no evidence of rodent nesting anywhere. The cats are obviously doing a fine job in that regard. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
The radiator and oil cooler screens are clear, and there's just a little pile of old leaves way down between the battery and the radiator. It all looks pretty good, right? The engine fires right up and runs good and strong. So why won't the idiot light go out?
What should I check next? /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
