Air filter part number for my IH 284 Nissan dsl tr

I need an IH part number for my IH 284 nissan dsl tractor. I cannot find an after market air filter without a part number. I cannot read the Japanese on the filter. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Don’t know the IH part, BUT the Wix # is 46270. You can find it and all the other filter #s for your tractor at wixfilters.com. KennyV.

Kenny V., Wix air filter wrong size. Perfect fit except it is too short.

Also found that a Purolator #A22011 should fit, BUT it crosses to the Wix #46270. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif ???

You might call Wix at their “Technical Service Hot Line: 1-800-949-6698” … tell them their off-highway equipment filter look-up calls for the Wix #46270, Ask if they have a wix # for the same dimension but longer. They should be able to get you the correct # /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. KennyV.
