I made two 8ft hose extensions to go from my mid-scv's to the rear. They have quick connects on both ends. When I first use these won't they have air in them? Will this bleed out automatically or do I need to do something or is it even a problem at all? When they are connected to the mid-scv and nothing is connected to the other end, won't the relief just operate when I open the valve? Am I missing something?

Install them and start using them. The air in the line will be replaced by fluid and make it's way thru the system and back to the reservoir air vent...

Yup, As Ron said, the lines will self bleed.

Don't forget to check the fluid level in the reservoir afterwards. The fluid that fills the hoses needs to be replaced. Depending on line diameter and length that could be enough to lower the reservoir level somewhat.
