Today I tried the 3PTH top link, as suggested and found there was no air in the cylinder when I started and there was no air after a few slow cycles back and forth. I forgot to check for air in the fluid though. Old age is catching up to me. We've had mixed snow and rain for the last couple of days and I don't want to use the tractor for snow removal until the ground is frozen. Otherwise I am digging up gravel and I hate that. Supposed to get colder next week and stay below freezing. I should be able to test it again, then.
