Tires Air Leaking Out of Wheel Rim Clamps on Mahindra 5555

The other front wheel on my tractor leaked down. Same problem. Cracking around a weld nugget created by the Titan fusion welding of the loops to the rims. Put a tube in it to solve the problem again. But sometimes the first wheel makes clicking noises. Sounds like more nuggets are cracking.

I'm considering having the loops welded on the outside of the rim with conventional bead welding.

Tractors with front end loaders and front wheel drive seem to be hard on the front wheels.

And that has been a known issue since they started. Many other manufacturers have produced rims that work for decades. The technicians remark indicated they knew about it but don't care.

Correction. The clicking noises are not coming from the fusion nuggets cracking loose. The bolts holding the wheel center to the hub were coming loose. The noise stopped after they were tightened. We will be adding lock washers. Thanks to Cousin Dave, who got the tip from this website.
