Air Ride VS Standard Seat in 3720 Cab

I love my air seat on my 3720. I would buy it again.....

I'm 5'6 and weigh 220 which presents a problem for the normal spring preload seat. I had a 3320 with the spring seat and I either had to adjust it low and bottom out all the time but be able to control the pedals over the bumps, or adjust it for my weight, have it be very tall, and bounce so much over the bumps my foot would come off the pedals and jerk the tractor. I was going to make a 'chain stop' that would limit the height but allow me to preload the spring for my weight but I traded for a 3370 cab where I got the air seat.
The air seat is much more of a height adjustment than the spring seat is. It doesn't bounce nearly as much and provides a much better height adjustment.
Had I know it was this good I would have gotten it on my 3320.

If the ground is rough as you say it is and you'll be in the seat for long periods, get the air ride. I have air rides in my dumptruck and my backhoe. The difference is substantial. The older you get, the more your back hurts. The air ride is infinitely adjustable. Typical suspension seats have "gaps" between adjustments that might not fit your weight just right.
Don't ever let anyone tell you comfort is for "softies". Comfort is for smart operators who don't like feeling beat-up when they get off their equipment after a long day of seat time.
Another air ride benefit is better resale value. Heck, you might like the mid-PTO. Never know, someday you might want a power broom, snowblower, etc.

I have had my 3320 for two years and really like the air seat. I did not get the mid pto, Is that something that has changed? JC

Aren't mid PTO's cheap? Like $150-$200?
