I was fortunate enough this weekend to be able to see both US Open singles finals. It was quite a pleasure to see two Americans in each.
The Williams sisters, Venus and Serena, competed for the women's title, with younger sister Serena overpowering her older sibling.
The men's final brought out a couple of the more seasoned Americans. In the oldest US final ever, thirty-one year old Pete Sampras beat thirty-two year old Andre Agassi to win his fourteenth Grand Slam title.
On this weekend in particular, it was nice to see two all American finals in the US Open.
