Kioti CK25 HST w/home built cab
I've already posted asking if anyone else had an unpainted aluminum hydraulic pump body like mine and no one has replied. Is mine really the only one in the world? It's important to me because I am having cavitation issues with mine. Loader jerks and chatters for a couple seconds if the machine has been idling for a minute or two. If I revved up to 2,000 rpm for 3 seconds before using the loader the cavitation is gone. If one of the Kioti dealers has any experience here, I'm hoping one will comment on my issue. I had the tractor to my dealer, the comment was, it still lifts the loader so let it be. The other CKs on the lot did not cavitate at all. I've tightened all hose clamps on the supply side of the pump. No oil leaks to be seen anywhere around the pump, filter or control valve. New Kioti hydraulic filter and oil already done and oil is at the full mark but now difference. The warmer the machine gets the more it cavitates. Any knowledgeable help is truly appreciated.

I checked my CK27 and the pump is painted - I have not experienced any cavitation. Yours sure looks like it is not origianal equipment. Did you buy the tractor new?

Good luck,
Loren

For what it is worth, my 2004 LK3054 XS has the original aluminum pump, I've had no issues, but I understand the pump to typically be problematic.

There is a post "LK30" which speaks to it.

I'm thinking sooner or later I'll need to replace my pump.

My 04 CK25 has a painted pump. I've never noticed cavitation.

To answer Loren's question. The tractor had 200 hrs. when I got it. It has been cavitating since then. The dealer was suppose to find out why my pump was unpainted. But they never bothered so I still don't know why its like that. The tractor was purchase at this dealer new buy the previous owned.
Joel, when you say, I understand the pump to typically be problematic. What kind of problem have you heard of?
I'm still hoping to get a response from a knowledgeable dealer on this.
Thanks guys for your input.

The aluminum pumps are prone to fail, hydraulics get slower and slower. Not sure if there ultimately is an external oil leak or not.

I've been good to date and hoping to stay that way.

I have just under 250 hours on my machine.

Bought my CK30 in July, then before I had 50 hours on it, dealer called to tell me that Kioti recalled hydraulic pump due to possible seal leaks. Wallace Tractor sent a guy out and he replaced the pump (painted grey) with a new pump (unpainted aluminum). No cavitation with either pump.

I have an "04 CK30hst purchased new with 1.6 hours in 04/05 with a painted gray pump and now around 350 hours total. Never had a pump problem yet. FL will work fine at idle to max rpm. Even at idle on a start up, the fl will work fine.
