Haven't pull the trigger yet.
But I'm leaning more towards the steel version...500 pounds extra pay load just don't justify the extra 1000$+
And also been looking at 16' for an extra 150$, will probably go with that.

my $.02
each has advantages...ive had a bunch of steel trailers over the years...easy & cheap to fix & modify...

sinced ive downsized over the last few years, and got rid of the 3/4, 1-ton, LN8000 trucks, I bought a Quality Steel 12' SA aluminum trailer...
if you live in a fairly level area, the extra weight of steel wont be noticeable, but in the hills of Pa, every lb. less helps...

I can weld aluminum, and have the equipment to do so, so that's something I don't hafta worry about...

if you hafta take it to a shop, be prepared to hand over some $$...
