All of the Dodge and Ford dealerships in my area are being bought out by mega-stores

I have found that this leads to better deals when buying. The last 2 Honda's and GM's I've purchased from mega dealers, I was able to do my due diligence, make an offer and buy without any hassle. I've not had any warranty issues with any of them, I do my own service so can't speak to the service depts except for 2 recall issues, both of which were taken care of with no drama.

North America wide the Ag dealerships are the same .One man owns nearly half the JD dealerships in Saskatchewan. Titan in the states and RME in western Canada have close to 200 CIH/NH stores .

It's happening all over the USA and not just dealerships. Vertical and horizontal integration with others to survive this stinking economy we live in.

Now Ford and Dodge dealers here are owned by same company. 2 separate stores, but now having joint commercials. Always have been two different businesses. Strange. I'll buy a Chevy/GMC next.

Pretty much the same story here..A few more than three but not much more. They are all pretty good though.
