That looks to be much too nice of an Olds to be using as a Clone, If all original then I'm sure the car is or would be worth more as is then cloning. Even though a Cloned car can be passed of by an average Looker as the real McCoy, clones simply are not worth as much as the "Real McCoy" and you could be depreciating a more expensive worth car,
However if this car has been poorly restored and lacks a lot of original parts than it might not be worth much anyway,..... one of my last projects was a '68 Dart GTS original 383/4-speed I was going to restore it although it was missing the original engine and trans, the interior was gone, it was more/less a rolling chases, I thought I could find the parts and put it all back together, I searched for 2 years and not much turn up at the swaptmeets, I even had a running ad looking for parts, I could get quit lot of things through Year One, but it wasn't going to be cheap, I would have spent 65-75K on this car only to have a car worth 50-k...... so I give up on the original idea and decide to try and do a '68 HEMI Dart clone, basically a stripped down Dart, I sold the GTS power bulge hood off from my GTS in order to gain funds to buy parts, I couldn't find an original cross ram HEMI so I got a 440 engine from 70's Power wagon and got a 2-4 Tunnel Ram intake to slap in the Dart, I got Van bucket seats and was waiting for some other things to turn up, when someone found out I had this '68 GTS they come to me with an offer I could not refuse $$

so he owns it now, I ask him what his plans were to do with it? He said he had a '68 383 & 4-speed and wanted this car to put it in. was going to completely strip the dart down and start back from scratch to put back original, all I could say was good luck finding the parts . he then said no problem, as he has a wrecked '68 Dart GTS just like this one and was going to move all the parts over into it, I was sad to see it go but was glade to know someone could aford to restore it correctly,
