Hi folks,I'm new here,I'm from Howden Manitoba Canada,just south of Winnipeg or Winterpeg as most call it,I love restoring tractors that are not running,I just finished a 1985 Allis Chalmers 5015 4 wheel drive that I purchased with a 54" underbelly deck and 3pth,previous owner said there was coolant in the oil and had been parked for 4 plus years,while disassembling we noticed that a frost plug on top of the head was popped out,so we changed the head gasket anyway and reinstalled the frost plug due to the fact nothing was wrong with the frost plug,we checked for cylinder wall scoring and there wasn't any,all was in tact,reassembled everything filled the coolant and started leaking(found the culprit) the water pump was done,to make a long story short it was the water pump from the start fired up runs like a top,tore all the tin off sanded and painted as best I could and turned out quite well,next project is to get a front end loader for it enough blabbing fom me glad to be here have a great day all Greg!

nice project. i have its cousin, a 5020. great machine. mine is only 3 wheel drive though. missing some gears in one of the hubs.
